Holly Duax, a senior at Sioux City West High in Iowa, repeated in the girls 100-meter dash in 12.42 seconds running into a strong headwind and placed second in the long jump with a fifth-round leap of 17-10.75 (5.45m) at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Duax became the first female athlete at Drake Relays to win back-to-back titles since Kerris Roberts of Waterloo East in 2016-17.
